TAPPROVING AUTHORITY: TDepends on the level of award-see below

THonorable order of the eagle rising awards levels: See paragraph 5 of Chapter II

T**GOLD: USAWOA National or Regional Contributions. Support rendered to a Division-level or higher, the WO Corps at an Army-wide level or support to the local civilian civic foundations. Approval is by the National President upon written endorsement by the Regional Director.

T**SILVER: USAWOA Regional Contributions. Support rendered to the Brigade or Battalion levels. Any support of the local civic or country areas. Approval of this level lies with the Regional Director.

T**BRONZE: USAWOA Chapter Contributions. Support rendered to the Battalion level and local civic foundations. Approval of this level lies with the Chapter President.

TNOTE: The Honorable Order of the Eagle Rising award has no timelines. It can be awarded at any time during the year. Every attempt will be made to present Gold level awards at a USAWOA function


The USAWOA Professional Excellence Award
ELIGIBILITY: Any Region, Chapter or Auxiliary for the awards year
NOMINATION PROCEDURES: May be nominated by any National, Region Member or the Chapter Awards Committee
PRESENTED FOR: Outstanding service to the country, USAWOA, Region, Chapter or the betterment of the Warrant Officer cohort and, Army.
TYPE OF AWARD: Certificate of Appreciation and Medallion at all levels Gold, Silver or Bronze level**
APPROVING AUTHORITY: Depends on the level of award-see below

Honorable order of the eagle rising awards levels: See paragraph 5 of Chapter II

GOLD: USAWOA National or Regional Contributions. Awarded for USAWOA National or multiple Regional Contributions. May also include significant support rendered to higher level civilian civic foundations. If a chapter member is actively involved with events that will benefit the entire Association, such as recommending a new award, or contributing to the overall success of the entire Association, the member should be recognized with the highest level we can give them. Approval is by the National President upon written endorsement by the Regional Director.

SILVER: USAWOA Regional Contributions. Awarded for USAWOA Regional Contributions. May also include significant support of the local civic or county areas. If your chapter members use their talents to assist the Region in planning regional events, participating in cross chapter events for the betterment of the region, this is what this level is intended for. Approval of this level lies with the Regional Director.

BRONZE: USAWOA Chapter Contributions. Awarded for USAWOA Chapter Contributions. May also include significant support rendered to the local civic foundations. If a member is always supporting chapter events, he or she is always there assisting with fund drives and community events, these are the members who need the chapter level recognition. Approval of this level lies with the Chapter President.

*Notes:

  1. 1. The National Vice President, by virtue of the position is responsible for all of the Committees within the Association. He or she may deem it their duty to screen the USAWOA Professional Excellence Award recommendations prior to them being sent for processing.
  2. 2. Certificate redesign highlights the immortalized USAWOA leaders' contributions to the USAWOA.
  3. 3. The existing award medallions and certificates will be used until supply is exhausted.
  4. 4. New certificates will be embedded with QR Code to enable virtual augmentation of personal multimedia histories of immortalized USAWOA leader symbolized on each certificate.
  5. 5. Members awarded the HOER will be eligible to receive newly revised USAWOA Professional Excellence Award.
  6. 6. The new award will be sequentially numbered by year and sequence number. (2021-1)
